Jonathan Davidson

Jonathan Davidson

“Jonathan has led the engineering teams behind nearly every major network operating system that runs today’s enterprises, service providers and hyperscalers. His experience scaling networking businesses, engineering organizations and customer relationships will be invaluable as we build the network AI factories need. We are thrilled to welcome Jonathan to our board.”

Mansour Karam, Founder and CEO, Aria Networks

“AI factories are the largest buildout of compute in history, and connectivity has become the bottleneck. Every point of GPU utilization and every token per second maps directly to revenue, and the network determines a lot of that. Most of the industry is still treating AI networking as faster versions of what came before. Aria has the chance to define a new category, where the network is designed, instrumented and operated end to end for AI, and token efficiency is the metric that matters. It is a company I wanted to help build.”

Jonathan Davidson, Founder and CEO, Trace Computing

Davidson brings more than three decades of networking and security leadership to Aria Networks. He is currently Founder and CEO of Trace Computing, a company incubated at Sutter Hill Ventures. Most recently, he was Executive Vice President and General Manager of Cisco Networking, where he led Cisco’s entire networking business across enterprise, data center, service provider and cloud, including optics, hardware and software. He previously led Cisco’s Mass-Scale Infrastructure Group and its Service Provider Networking business.

Before returning to Cisco in 2017, Davidson was Executive Vice President and General Manager of Juniper Networks’ Engineering and Product team, responsible for the company’s full portfolio of routing, switching, data center, cloud and security products. Earlier in his career, he spent more than 15 years at Cisco in product management and engineering leadership roles.
