Singapore, Singapore – October 20, 2026 – Creative For More, a cross-border digital marketing agency with offices in Singapore, Tokyo and New York, won Gold at the 2026 MarCom Awards in the Social Media category for its Wise campaign, “Turning Everyday Money Moments Into a Local Reason to Switch.”
The MarCom Awards are an international creative competition administered and judged by the Association of Marketing and Communication Professionals (AMCP). Around 6,000 entries are submitted each year from dozens of countries, and judges evaluate each entry on its own quality, creativity and resourcefulness.
Making a global message feel local
Wise, the global money transfer company, has a proposition built on transparency and fair pricing. In Singapore and Malaysia, the brief was to make that message feel closer to everyday life, where people lose money to hidden bank fees, confusing exchange rates and charges that only appear after a transfer goes through.
The cost of cross-border transfers is significant at a global level. According to the World Bank’s Remittance Prices Worldwide report (September 2025), sending remittances costs an average of 6.36 percent of the amount sent.
Creative For More built the campaign around local behaviour rather than financial jargon. Bubble tea comparisons made fees easy to weigh up, carpark rates illustrated clear pricing, and the content focused on familiar money moments such as sending allowances, topping up cards and moving funds across borders.
Creators shared real experiences of sending money home, paying for trips and helping family abroad, with every piece shot natively for short-form platforms. The approach was based on a simple observation: people trust other people more than they trust financial copy.
One creative system across every channel
The campaign ran across Meta, TikTok, Google Display and The Trade Desk. Static visuals, concept-driven carousels, animated explainers and creator videos were built as one creative system, keeping Wise’s global look while giving each piece a local voice for audiences in Singapore and Malaysia.
Social media gave the campaign broad reach in both markets. According to DataReportal’s Digital 2026 reports, Singapore had 5.33 million social media user identities in October 2025, equal to 90.6 percent of the population, and Malaysia had 30.7 million, equal to 85.0 percent.
“A global message is true everywhere, but it only changes behaviour once people see their own life in it,” said Geraldine Pang, Founder and Managing Director of Creative For More. “For Wise, that meant tying ‘no hidden fees’ to the prices and money moments people in Singapore and Malaysia deal with every day. We submit our work to industry awards from time to time as an independent check on the thinking behind it, and we’re grateful to the Wise team for trusting us with the brief.”
