MISSOULA, MT, UNITED STATES, September 29, 2026 /EINPresswire.com/ — Venture Medical, LLC, an advanced wound care solutions company, today announced that it has acquired Medipyxis, Inc., developer of a purpose-built electronic medical record and operating system for wound care practices. Medipyxis will operate as a wholly owned subsidiary of Venture Medical and will continue as a separate platform under the leadership of founder Damon Ebanks, who will serve as President of Medipyxis. Financial terms were not disclosed.

Wound care practices are working through a significant restructuring of Medicare wound care reimbursement. At the same time, documentation requirements and claims scrutiny have intensified, including the WISeR prior authorization model now operating in six states. The patient need has not changed. What has changed is how efficiently a practice must operate to be successful.

Medipyxis was designed specifically to support wound care practices, and provides an end-to-end solution from patient intake to billable claim. The platform tightly integrates AI-assisted referral intake, structured wound documentation tools aligned to Medicare coverage requirements, real-time eligibility verification, scheduling and route planning, credentialing alerts, product inventory tracking, and billing into a single system, replacing the collection of disconnected – and often manual – tools many practices rely on today.
