NXTPoint Logistics Hosts First-Ever National PIT Rodeo, Showcasing Safety Excellence and Operator Skill

NXTPoint’s top powered industrial truck operators from across the country gathered for a national competition celebrating safety, precision and performance

JACKSONVILLE, FL, UNITED STATES, October 26, 2026 /EINPresswire.com/ — On October 17, 2026, NXTPoint Logistics hosted its inaugural National PIT Rodeo, bringing together the company’s top powered industrial truck (PIT) operators from facilities across the United States for a day of competition, camaraderie and safety-focused fun. The event showcased the exceptional skill, precision and commitment to safety that drive NXTPoint’s warehouse and fulfillment operations every day.

Held at NXTPoint’s Jacksonville facility, the National PIT Rodeo featured 11 operators who earned their place through local competitions and outstanding safety performance at their respective facilities. More than 150 attendees gathered to watch as the participants competed in a series of challenges designed to test equipment handling, operational knowledge, accuracy and safe operating practices under real-world conditions. The winner was awarded a $1,000 prize, in addition to a belt buckle commemorating their first place PIT Rodeo finish.

While the competition highlighted individual talent, the event’s larger purpose was to reinforce the company’s culture of safety. Every challenge was designed to demonstrate the technical expertise, situational awareness and disciplined execution required to operate warehouse equipment safely and efficiently. The event also underscored NXTPoint’s ongoing investment in employee training, operational excellence and continuous improvement.

Beyond the competition, employees, families, customers and community guests enjoyed a festival-like atmosphere featuring food trucks, kid-friendly activities, giveaways and opportunities to connect with NXTPoint leaders and operations teams. The event reinforced NXTPoint’s belief that a strong safety culture is built not only through training and accountability, but also through employee recognition and engagement.
