Chi-Rho Financial, LLC (Chi-Rho), an Atlanta-based alternative investment firm that manages a market-neutral, multi-strategy hedge fund and a fund of hedge funds, and provides customized portfolio advisory service, is proud to welcome Daniel Hoinacki, CFA as Head of Capital Formation to the team.

Prior to joining Chi-Rho, Dan spent more than twenty years leading global fundraising, investor relations, and strategic partnership formations across multi-strategy hedge fund, equity long/short, public and private credit, and asset-based finance/structured credit platforms.

Dan previously held senior client development roles at several prominent hedge funds, including York Capital, Tricadia Capital, and Carlson Capital, with global client coverage responsibilities across a broad range of investor types. Prior to Carlson, he was a Principal in the Fund Investment Group at Moore Capital where he managed outside investments in hedge funds, venture capital, private equity, real estate, and real assets and built a fund of hedge funds business unit which he spun out and served as President and Lead Portfolio Manager. Prior to Moore, Dan was a Senior Investment Consultant at Graystone Consulting (acquired by Morgan Stanley) where he advised family offices and ultra-high-net-worth clients. He began his investment career at Glenwood Capital, a pioneer in the fund of hedge funds business.

Dan is a CFA charter holder and holds an MBA from Chicago Booth and a B.A. in Finance and a B.A. in International Economics from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign.
